About the Artist

Mari Beltran is a sculptor & goldsmith living & working in Southern California. Raised in Los Angeles, she inherited a deep appreciation of art, artifacts, natural history, literature, and playfulness. Her creative practice ranges from working in the abstract with stones like marble and onyx, to working at the intimate scale of jewelry in precious metals. She is drawn to an aesthetic that is organic, gestural & loose, and looks often to nature, to the shapes of bones or shells, and to the movement of bodies to glean fragments of forms & figures that might make their way into her work.

In the studio, she hand-carves each piece with the belief that jewelry should be both timeless and profoundly personal. Making objects that have an intimate relationship to the body is part of how she creates meaning. Each piece is made in Los Angeles.

Exchange or store credit is available on all full-priced items with a receipt within 15 days of purchase. No refunds. Items must qualify for exchange, and be unworn and in original condition.
