Introducing our most profound creation yet, the "Side by Side" hat, born out of our fifth-year reflection as a company. This quiet anniversary became a pivotal moment, inspiring us to redefine our purpose. "Side by Side; Quality Goods Rooted In The Bonds of Companionship" embodies our commitment to honoring the timeless partnership between humans and their bird dogs.

What makes this hat even more special is its illustration inspiration. A few months before the company's namesake, Skeet, passed away, I took a photo of him walking side by side with my wife Kathleen. This poignant image captures one of the last walks they shared, in a beautiful field in Central Texas. The series of illustration iterations that followed depict the meaningful design process. Beyond symbolizing our refined mission and purpose, this shirt memorializes one of the last cherished moments of our first bird dog's life, embodying the spirit of loyalty and companionship.  Another special aspect of this shirt, was caught during the illustrative design process from the old photos, it was hard to catch the essence of Skeet’s (a French Brittany) body.  So we sent a current photo of one of our current female bird dogs, Ruby, for the designer to see.  As a result, this illustration combines the legacy and memorable moment of our time with Skeet and our current day memories in the making with Ruby being the inspiration for the dog illustration and pose.
